Calissa

Now it is my turn to worry about words, because my words could never do justice to such a wonderful person.

Serenity is one of those people who instantly puts me at ease, who makes me feel it is safe to be myself.

I think one of the reasons she makes me feel that way is because she is so true to herself. She is certainly compassionate and giving, but she is also honest and will say when enough is enough. That takes a lot of strength and wisdom and I admire that.

I admire so many things about you, your talent of writing being one of them.

I just found out serendipitously that the name Calissa means:

”Most beautiful. Diminutive of Calista, Mythological Arcadian who transformed into a she-bear, then into the Great Bear constellation.”

There are many things I admire about Sherlock, foremost being her courage and tenacity in the face of the crap life throws at her. But also because she makes an effort to enjoy life, however awful it gets. She still aspires to have adventures, to teach compassion and to keep the magic. If I could go through the foothills of my life with half the kind-heartedness and generosity she has as she climbs her mountains, I would consider my life well spent.

There are many things I admire about FairlyFearless. I admire her strength and determination in moving forward, no matter what life throws at her. I admire her wisdom, even more so because it was hard won. I admire her generosity in sharing it openly with the world. And I admire that she’s done what I dream of doing—making a life as a writer. I know with absolute certainty that it would be difficult to find a better role model.

She is so kind and giving of good cheer. Her positive energy is so infectious.

Calissa seems to be very interesting, with the will to chance the most important feeling: the feeling about herself. I don’t know how to do it but we have to try everyday.

Calissa set into a motion a beautiful “card shower” for me from the Journaleers. I’d had kind of a downer Christmas, and I cam home from my family’s to find 5 cards from people I’ve never met in RL. It turned my day around. When I found out it was her, I made sure to thank her!
